Isomethyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride is rather widely used in the equipment and technical industry for the following purposes:

1. As a curing agent of all possible epoxy resins and mixtures based on them, and thus in manufacture of fiberglass fittings of all types.

2. The product is used in manufacture of polymerizable adhesives and putties, impregnating and sealing compounds for starting of plymerization reaction in these materials with their future curing.

3. To insulate electrotechnical equipment, including high-voltage one.

4. In different areas of electrical engineering, radio technical and chemical industry.

The curing agent is supplied in 220 kg drums. The tare should be special and sealed. The guaranteed shelf life at the warehouse makes 6 months. Within this period one should follow storage and handling and fire safety regulations as the product relates to the 2^nd hazard class explosives.
